Hi there!

I’m Kitty Underhill. I’m a body and self acceptance coach helping people to have better relationships with themselves and their bodies.

Body and self acceptance coach Kitty sits on a green plush stool, facing the camera in front of a white wall decorated with ivy leaves. She smiles at the camera, hands in front of her. She wears blue jeans and a white multicolouredleopard print shirt

Drawing from my training in Psychology, Sociology, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Counselling Skills as well as my own personal experience with body image and self esteem issues, I provide my clients with the space and tools to be able to challenge negative self talk, build self esteem and accept their bodies, so that they may embody themselves fully, authentically and proudly.

What does Embodying You mean?

We are actively encouraged by our environment, our upbringing and society to disengage from ourselves and our bodies. For example: pushing away our feelings, ignoring hunger cues, not speaking up, ‘hustle culture', diet culture, working until burnout and ignoring our physical sensations that tell us we are not ok. This is disembodiment - an encouraged disconnect from ourselves.

Disembodiment is not an inherently bad thing - this can be a protective mechanism for many of us. However, developing self acceptance and self trust means re-learning to be in tune with ourselves and our bodies.

The aim at Embodying You is to help you to grow those skills within yourself so you can learn to accept (and hopefully love!) yourself. Hating ourselves and our bodies should not be the default, and here at Embodying You, I aim to help you make that transformational shift so you can live more confidently, freely and unapologetically.
